In Lesson 4, we will have a lot of fun counting things. You know, like counting your toys or candies. It’s an essential skill that helps us understand numbers better.
First, we’ll learn to count one thing at a time. If you have three toys, you say “one, two, three” while touching each toy. This is called “one-to-one correspondence.”
We’ll also practice counting forwards (1, 2, 3, 4…) and backwards (3, 2, 1). It’s like counting up and then counting down.
In this lesson, we’ll start to group things together. Imagine you have some red balls and some blue balls. We can count how many red balls and how many blue balls separately. This helps us organize and understand numbers better.
Remember, counting is like a superpower! It helps us in lots of things, like sharing snacks, playing games, and even doing math when we grow up. So, let’s have fun counting and learning together in Lesson 4!
